Montego Bay, Jamaica:  Can we just say…we LOVE destination weddings!!!  We so enjoy traveling and experiencing new parts of the world (especially when we are leaving a snow/ice storm in Indiana and heading to where it is 85 degrees and sunny).  So we have been looking forward to capturing Kate and Justin’s wedding for months! Kate and Justin took some of their closest family and friends to the tropical Rose Hall Resort.  We were lucky enough to be chosen to come along to capture their weekend events.  Kate and Justin are such lovable, compassionate and GENUINE people.  The kind of sweet couple you are drawn to because they just make you smile.   Kate and Justin’s friends and family were also such a delight!  We could feel the love and sincere happiness that everyone had for this couple.  Their group of friends were also a blast to be around!   We were able to also work with the fabulous wedding planning team of  Luxe Destination Wedding who kept the wedding day running flawlessly.   The week leading up to the wedding, every day was sunny with blue skies and huge white fluffy clouds.  However when waking on the wedding day, it was gloomy with a few rain showers.  Luckily it didn’t rain during the ceremony or while taking photos, so we were some happy photogs!  Kate and Justin’s seaside ceremony took place at the breathtaking ruins of an 1837 aqueduct.  Followed by an intimate courtyard reception at The 3 Palms Restaurant on the golf course of  Cinnamon Hill.  Kate, Justin and their wedding guests danced the night away and even at some points in the pouring rain.  It was a truly amazing weekend to be a part of and one of our most favorite weddings to date!  Kate and Justin, thank you for trusting us to capture your destination wedding and for being such darling people.  We are so thankful to have been a part of your lives during this special time!

Kate, you are adorable!

A sweet first meeting.

We had the opportunity to photograph around this Jamaican plantation…but only for 15 mins, so we had to be quick…it was so worth it!

Champagne toasts with the bridal party and family after the ceremony.

Love that you can see them dancing in the rain…pure happiness!

Kate + Justin
